The 13th edition of International Congress of Industrial Cybersecurity of CCI

The Industrial Cybersecurity Center (CCI) of Spain has held its XIII International Congress of Industrial Cybersecurity in Europe. The Conference is considered as one of the reference events for European market as it constitutes a meeting point for actors involved in the domain of cyber-security to exchange knowledge and experiences. The event took place in Madrid, span and it was based on real application cases and lessons learned managing the risks of the digital industry. It allowed OT and IT professionals, industrial manufacturers, cyber-security, engineering and consulting integrators, end users and critical infrastructure operators to share knowledge and experiences on the different perceptions of Industrial Cybersecurity.
TECNALIA took part to the congress in order to inform an assemblage of significant stakeholders about the projected cyber-security solution that SPHINX is developing to enhance the safety of IT Ecosystems of Healthcare organisations. In particular, Maite Alvárez gave a key note titled “OT network protection through Blockchain Technology”, in which she discussed the elaboration of Blockchain capacities in the case of SPHINX Toolkit. She talked about the use of Blockchain as an effective method to register threats to OT networks thus creating an ever-updating platform of risks tracking. This way, the sensitive data of patients would be safeguarded as the security systems of healthcare providers would be more efficient of recognizing potential threats and consequently be more proactive.
